Job vacancy Section Head - Cybersecurity Monitoring

A prominent, leading organisation in the region driving interesting and exciting transformation initiatives in the region.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security monitoring program, aligned with industry best practices and government regulations.
• Design and configure security monitoring tools and technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and network traffic analysis solutions.
• Analyse security alerts and events, identify potential threats, and escalate incidents according to defined procedures.
• Conduct investigations into security incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain situational awareness of the evolving threat landscape and advise on appropriate security measures.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on security posture and monitoring activities to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to the security monitoring program.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing and operating a security monitoring program.
• In-depth knowledge of security monitoring tools and technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and network traffic analysis solutions;
