I bought 2 almond croissants from Al Fair, Sarooj at 10:45am this morning. I asked the baker if they were fresh and he said, "Yes, Madame". I took them home have just bitten into one and it is hard, old, and stale. It is inedible. I have tried calling the contact number provided many times but it just rings out. It is unacceptable for a once excellent supermarket to be selling old, stale bread as fresh bread. I am extremely disappointed in this company. I was once a loyal customer - no more.
