Job vacancy Director General of Public Relations and Media

A Saudi Government entity which is working on a large scale project for Coral Reef & Sea Turtle Conservation in the Red Sea. This entity aims to attain the 2030 vision of Saudi Arabia wherein the country is closer to contributing towards a greener and sustainable planet. The organization is planning and implementing effective programs with best global experts on coral reefs and turtle to train the local talent. Furthermore, the entity aims to promote innovation in environmental conservation by driving research, community engagement, strategic partnerships and effective coordination with other stakeholders.

• Represents the Organization in external communications and the media
• Identify and select media partners
• Ensure engagement with media across all channels
• Handle public relations to disseminate the Organization's brand
• Support awareness teams in awareness programs development and promote stakeholder's preparedness and relations
• Coordinate with media partners to disseminate awareness campaigns on the assigned channels
• Manage crisis communications
• Inform internal staff on matters related to policies, procedures, and the Organization's position on specific subjects

• Master's degree in Communications/Media Relations/Public Relations or other related topics
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations/ Media /Mass Communications or any other related topics
• Fluent Written and Spoken Arabic Required
• Business Proficiency in Written and Spoken English
• Critical Leadership Competencies such as conflict management and resource management
• Leadership competencies such as influencing/negotiating and decisiveness
