Reviews of Al Fair

I bought 2 almond croissants from Al Fair, Sarooj at 10:45am this morning. I asked the baker if they were fresh and he said, "Yes, Madame". I took them home have just bitten into one and it is hard, old, and stale. It is inedible. I have tried calling the contact number provided many times but it just rings out. It is unacceptable for a once excellent supermarket to be selling old, stale bread as fresh bread. I am extremely disappointed in this company. I was once a loyal customer - no more.

There is no consistency in all branches of al fair they have a few things for about 2 months and then it's not there on shelves for another 6 months . The meat is not always fresh and good quality . Certain items on the shelves very close to expiry date so if you do buy pls closely check the dates . Have been very disappointed since past 3 months . I think lulu and carrefour is a better choice as compared to prices too .
